Brief & Challenge

SodLawn is a California based sod delivery company. With 7 large scale farms they are able to deliver to residential and commercial customers throughout California. The problem they were facing was creating an easy to use online ordering system and backend management system. After diving deep into their organization and brand during our discovery, the goal was clear: Create a delightful sod purchasing experience, seamlessly managed in-house, that turns leads into customers, and customers into SodLawn evangelists.

Results

• Create a fully functioning CMS capable of receiving, processing, managing, and modifying all orders in-house.

• Create an attractive yet simple, straight-forward process for users to submit their orders online.

• Allow ample time to test and adjust the prototype for unknown nuanced feature sets within the backend.

• CRO of AdWords efforts by improving or implementing landing pages and using Google Analytics and Hotjar for heatmapping.



• Optimize local SEO efforts in current cities by improving or adding city pages, reputation management, and building out blog content.

• Use email marketing to generate ongoing customer feedback, for reputation management, and to build a newsletter/promotions list.
